Clothiers Creek and Round Mountain Roads
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Monday on Clothiers Creek Road and Round Mountain Road, adjacent to the Pacific Highway, at Clothiers Creek to carry out essential bridge maintenance work.
‘Transport for NSW will carry out work around the bridges at Clothiers Creek and Reserve Creek and includes vegetation removal, earthworks, scour repair, placement of new scour rocks, replacement of bridge stormwater pipe systems and installation of erosion protection,’ said a spokesperson for Transport for NSW.
Work will be carried out Monday to Friday from 7am to 5.30pm and is expected to take about four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Signage will be in place during work hours on Clothiers Creek and Round Mountain roads advising motorists of frequent truck turning movements.
Intermittent speed reductions of 80km/h will temporarily be in place on the Pacific Highway above the work zone as required during work hours.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
